beginning of october. a birthday for stella!!

as you saw in my last post, we have been unable to post our pictures from the end of october until NOW!! i got a nifty little cord that you plug the memory card into, and the computer reads it, and here they are! so, i'm gonna try to post october as quickly as possible, while giving each post time to bask in the sunlight all by itself, so nothing gets lost in the translation of our truly lovely october. here, i give you stella elisabeth mcguinn's 3rd birthday party. we were thrilled to hear that the coates/mcguinn family was coming from australia to visit. we love them, and how cute is this little birthday girl?!!

this is the closest we got to a family portrait this time. toby to the picture of pete! he was funny telling people to pose, and then taking at least 90 seconds to actually take the picture.

i think these two are a little cake drunk!

we also celebrated uncle tony's birthday at the end of the evening when he got off work. 2 birthdays in one day=lots of cake, and a long but fun day!
